Understanding market structure is the backbone of institutional trading. Without knowing whether a market is bullish or bearish, using tools like Order Blocks or Fair Value Gaps can lead to false entries. To trade effectively, you must learn to spot Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (CHoCH).
1. Break of Structure (BOS)
A Break of Structure occurs when the price continues in the direction of the current trend by breaking a previous high (in an uptrend) or a previous low (in a downtrend).
